Wont this result in a lot more people making private, fractured squads? Or is that self defeating because it would be impossible to gain the score by yourself? I think they should add some reinforcements the entire team can use, or perhaps credit some kills to all squadmates. Can someone explain the presets to me? They look like sub-classes but Im guessing they are like... Is the BF1 gunplay similar to something like Fortnite BR? What's so good about BF5's? Is it like Siege? Though I think Siege also has bullet deviation. Isn't there a worry that mastering recoil will lead to laser-like gunplay and even faster TTK? I also hope they have a tighter amount of modes... Rush seems to be a mixed mode for every BF game since maybe BF3 at least, and BC2 at best. Id like to see: -Conquest -Grand Operations -TDM -Frontlines a really great mode that the community enjoyed If every map release had Frontlines, Id be really happy because that mode was fun. In bf1, anytime someone shoots in your general direction the game basically creates an extra large circular type crosshair that is now the guidance for where your bullets will go. Your iron sights almost dont even matter at this point. Its completely random where in this circular crosshair your bullets will end up. Sometimes you will get lucky and a large percent of them will go towards the center, and other times the majority of them will go to the outer ring and you may as well be firing blanks. Something to note is that this exists to a smaller degree even when not suppressed, for all guns. Yes even sniper rifles. When laying prone and firing a sniper rifle there is still a small range of bullet spread. This was a big problem for shotguns, as sometimes 90% of the pellets in a shell would go to 1 small corner of the circular bullet zone. Thats why for a longtime they were completely incosistent even at close ranges. This was fixed in a later patch but only for shotguns Pretty disappointed I didn't get a code. I've purchased every Battlefield since 3 except Hardline and both Battlefronts and clocked lots of time on all of them. You'd think Origin would detect which users would be good for gathering feedback from on their next game. Someone send me a code if you got it and aren't gonna use it. I knew of the rng but wasnt sure its extent It also exists in bf4 right? I dont understand why dice has taken so long, but i was really shocked at how much bf5 seems to be in tune with what the core audience have been asking for: -dorito spotting massive nerfs -suppression -grenade spam reduction -no full health regen They all are long standing issues that i remember since bad company 2. I can see parties leaving to form their own squads, forcing me to join them since Id be without one. I really hope this cuts out all those snipers sitting high up somewhere and sniping the entire game. I didnt mind these players existing but the sheer number of them in a single game was agitating in bf1. Sniping just felt a ton eaiser in that game too I love Battlefield 1 for it's fast paced arcade gameplay and gorgeous presentation, but yeah, the gunplay can be at times so deflating. The random bullet deviation is most noticeable when using rifles. It's still manageable, but it's insanely frustrating to have the jump on someone over a little bit of range, line up a nice clean shot, and for no reason see your first shot deviate off course. Rifles are still totally manageable and I still personally prefer using them for fun and damage ratios, but I can see why a lot of people opted towards SMGs and machineguns to compensate for the spread, and how the bullet deviation encourages closer range encounters. Battlefield 1 also makes hip fire totally reasonable on so many guns, especially the Assault SMGs. When I'm playing run-and-gun up and close I'll almost never use the iron sights at all. Battlefield V feels worlds different thanks to the changes in random bullet deviation. When you miss a shot from a rifle in Battlefield 1 it sometimes feels like rolling a dice, because it literally is it's not game breakingly bad, but you know what I mean. Because the recoil is now realistic, and bullet trajectory is aligned with the barrel, your weapon kick feels like something actually manageable, and thus missed shots are conveyed as legitimate and something that can addressed by the player themselves and not just randomization. You can't just turn your rifle into a laser sight because there's still kick, but it does make the player put conscious effort into managing the weapon's kickback via burst fire, more patient lining up of shots, knowing your bullet drop, and just pacing yourself. When you hit a target it feels like you earned the shot. When you miss you accept it was your own fault, or you were just outplayed. The gunplay feels much more rewarding than Battlefield 1. If you want players to actually set up areas to use them and place themselves in a position where they are stationary there needs to be an advantage for doing so, and so far the disadvantages faaaaaar outweigh that, because as soon as you fire and everyone sees your position on the mini map it's a giant crosshair on you and snipers, etc are just going to ping you with a hit. Especially since spotting is out it just draws that much more attention to mg's. The squad spawn screen is stupid. They should just have the picture in picture like BF4. Battlefield always has weird UI and spawn features that seem fine in theory but in practice deter efficiency. I actually really like the idea of having a full feed of what my squad is doing to select my spawn. I like the idea of either bleeding out or slowing it down to call out for a revive. The bleed out is necessary, it's fast enough, and Battlefield should never allow instant respawn. I wish it was picture-in-picture. Like if you're bleeding out and reaching for help or waiting to respawn, have that as a PIP while you can still tinker with your loadout. I feel that's what eats up the most time, because I like swapping gear or class or weapons if I feel a different approach to help the team is necessary. Having to wait until I fully bleed out before I can even look at that screen is frustrating. I've been thinking about this the past couple days and I came to the conclusion that DICE doesn't want transportation vehicles on this map. When you look at it from a birds eye view, most of the pathways are meant for infantry with not much space for transportation vehicles to get through, which in turn slows things down quite a bit. All that being said, I would honestly still like a jeep or two for each side. It's very rare to see a tank in the midst of things as they usually stay at the edges from far away and try to snipe. EDIT: Maybe not a jeep, but probably one those transportation vehicles they showed in the official reveal trailer that's more of an ATV. I feel like the tracks it has would fit in with the snowy terrain of the alpha map. Pretty disappointed I didn't get a code. Some former Shooter Proplayers like shroud, kingGeorge are in it too + a bunch of BattleyRoyal and Variety Casuals like Ninja,DrDisrespect,Lirik and co. I hated the way it was set up in BF1, because Engineers could match Assault players in player lethality. Often, in BC2, I would be afraid to use my SMGs against ARs at a medium distance. How is BF5 setup? It's the same as BF1, right? Do weapon classes cross over? I really hope not. I enjoyed the class restrictions in BC2. Are you sure you're thinking of BF1? There isn't an Engineer class in that game, it's Support who has the repair tool and Assault with most of the anti-tank gadgets. And frankly, I don't agree that Engineers were at all that much of a disadvantage in infantry fights in BC2, in fact I feel the opposite: the ridiculous efficiency of tap-firing in BC2 allowed SMG users to still be very nearly as effective as ARs even at longer ranges. I meant BF4, sorry. And actually, youre right about the Engineer lethality in BC2. Rocket spam was also deadly. Regardless, I hated the shared weapons between classes in BF4 and much prefer defined gun classes for roles. But it always feels as if no one enjoys using LMGs, which in turn makes Support players scarce. At least I assume this, because it seems Support is always the least played for whatever reason, yet they have such a critical feature with ammo. And another thing: I wish DICE could find a way to reward smoke grenades. I always throw them down to advance a push, but it seems tons of people avoid using them because they dont reward points I swear a ton of pushes in Frontline happen because I spam smoke everywhere, and then notice teammates Zerg rushing. I enjoyed BF1 because players often swarmed together like a sea of ants, but in certain modes, players would always chicken out unless I threw down smoke. Really surprised by how much I liked this. Put About 1000 hours across BC2, BF3 and BF4 but only about 80 in BF1. I feel like this game is gonna suck me back in. A little disappointed by how poorly this ran on my i7-6700k, 1070, 16GB RAM set up high 30s - 90fps ultra preset at 1080p. Around those houses with the destruction in the middle of the map I was lucky to go past 45 FPS. But if the rumors are correct, this build is old and I have faith in dice to make a lot of improvements before launch. In for deluxe edition day one probably. It's not just the old Conquest ticket system that produced closer matches, but provision of transport vehicles throughout them for both teams on larger maps. This hopefully the case for BFV? Their relative absence from BF1 was terrible, turning average maps like Suez into awful ones the moment teams began to fall behind. I see that DICE's devs are reading this thread and even posting, so might aswell post bugs I noticed in the alpha here: - Rocket Launcher occasionally bugged and didn't let me shoot, even if I had ammo and I was aiming. I was able to move and shoot, but I only saw spawn select screen. Also I have two wishes: please make big maps, I would like to see BF3 armored kill style maps in BFV. And I would love to see Finnish winter war or maybe even Lapland war in BFV now that Norwegians also got their spot in the game.

There will be no embargo for streaming or video capture so battlefield v closed alpha key into your favorite streamers for new Battlefield V footage later this week. EA also says that participants will be able to undertake one Special Assignment and several Daily Orders during the closed alpha. The map Arctic Fjord is featured. When that happens, the match is over. As for Conquest — this is the timeless Battlefield classic where two teams use infantry and vehicular combat to seize a majority control of key control points.
